When I first opened the bottle to smell the rose essential oil, I could tell it was likely a different variety of rose use in the production of it than other rose essential oils I've bought before. I looked into it, and they are damask roses that have a "headier" scent, but this variety is often used in Bulgaria for their rose water and is often found in Morocco. It's not the bold, red rose scent I'm used to. It has more of a garden rose scent to it. It says the shelf life is 3 years. I added a few drops to my bath with Epsom salts to try it out, and it's growing on me, excuse the bad pun. It comes with a stopper and a dropper and was very nicely packaged. Aside from being surprised by the scent, I'm happy. The price is unbeatable.
